Terms of use

The rules for using the HolaGrower app and website. Last updated 25 September 2026.

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use the HolaGrower app for iPhone and Android or this website. By creating an account
or using HolaGrower you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use HolaGrower.

Your account

You must be at least 13, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account.
Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Tell us straight away at support@holagrower.com if you think someone else has used your account.

Gardening advice and AI results

HolaGrower gives general gardening information. Weather, frost dates and planting windows come from the sources
listed on our Data sources page and can be wrong or unavailable at times.

Plant identification, diagnosis and chat answers are produced by AI and are estimates. Every result
shows a confidence score, but results can still be wrong. In particular:

Never eat, or give to animals, a plant or mushroom because the app identified it as safe.
Always read and follow the label of any product you apply, such as fungicides or pesticides.
For serious or spreading problems, check with your local extension office or a professional.

You decide what to plant and how to treat it. We aren't responsible for crop losses or damage that result from following advice in the app.

Free AI interactions and purchases

Each account gets a number of free AI interactions every month. The allowance resets at the start of each month; unused free interactions don't carry over.
Identifying or diagnosing a photo uses one interaction. Text follow-up questions about a scan are free, up to a monthly limit shown in the app. Adding a new photo to a chat uses one interaction.
You can buy extra interactions (for example 50, 100 or 200). The price is shown before you pay.
Refunds follow the rules of the store or payment provider you paid through and the consumer law that applies to you.
We may change the free allowance or prices in future; changes won't affect interactions you have already bought.

What you post

You keep ownership of the photos, posts, comments and gardens you add. You allow us to store, show and process them
so the app works (for example, showing a public garden or a post to other users). Public content can be seen by other
users.

Only post content you have the right to share.
No illegal, hateful, harassing, misleading or sexual content, and no spam or advertising without our permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Using HolaGrower fairly

Don't try to break, overload or get around limits of the app or our servers.
Don't copy, scrape or resell the app, its content or its data.
Don't use HolaGrower to harm other people or break the law.

Ending your account

You can stop using HolaGrower at any time and ask us to delete your account on our
Delete account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Purchased
interactions that are unused when an account is closed for breaking these terms are not refunded, unless the law says
otherwise.

Disclaimers and liability

HolaGrower is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available but can't promise it will always be
error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for
losses caused by relying on gardening information or AI results. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have
under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, tell you in the
app. Using HolaGrower after a change means you accept the new terms.
